I am a level 1 Pickleball England qualified Club Instructor. In addition I am a qualified teacher with a BEd qualification and have taught sport since the age of 16. I am currently completing my Pickleball England Level 2 coaching qualification.

My aim is to ensure you enjoy playing pickleball safely, no matter what level you can achieve: it should be fun for all, and I want to hear lots of laughter on the court!

If you study the picture of me carefully, you’ll see that on my t-shirt why I lose at pickleball is printed on the t-shirt. I chose this carefully for two reasons:

1) I am always improving and there is room for improvement, so I am not prefect, hence The Imperfect Pickleball Coach. Because I struggle sometimes with elements of the game I know how frustrated you’ll be getting and have insight in how to help you.

2) Many coaches are not necessarily ace players. A recent student gave me this feedback “You are a very talented and authentic instructor!”. That’s feedback that I really appreciated and I will be able to help you overcome your difficulties in the game, whatever they might be, physical, psychological, medical etc ….. so that you can enjoy playing and improve within the limits of whatever you will be able to achieve.
